Delibari is the shipping and returns infrastructure for modern brands. We sit between the checkout and the doorstep, negotiating carrier rates, orchestrating fulfilment, routing returns, powering the branded tracking and post-purchase flow. An AI layer runs through all of it: picking the right carrier for every parcel, pre-empting delays before the customer sees them, drafting support replies, reading returns to catch quality issues early. Logistics is not a feature we added. It is the entire company.

The art of hosting. Service as craft, hosting as an act. Every parcel is a small act of hospitality.

一Origin

Rewriting the boring part of e-commerce.

Karine, of the Caravan Paris sneaker shop, at 5 rue Charlot in the Marais, in 2016
Karine, of Caravan Paris, and me. 5 rue Charlot, Le Marais, 2016.(Couldn't find one with my face in it, sorry.)

A note from the founder

I've been around parcels for as long as I can remember. Riders dispatched at night, warehouses at dawn, trucks disappearing into the périphérique. There's a quiet magic to it: an invisible choreography working through the night for a person it will never meet.

The real beginning was a sneaker shop in the Marais. 5 rue Charlot, 2016. I walked into Caravan Paris for a pair of shoes, and left three hours later having understood the whole problem. Karine was trying to put her shop online: a decent website, fair carrier rates, returns that didn't eat her afternoon. The tools existed. They still do. And they've barely moved since.

Seven years later, on my way back from Singapore, I ran into Franck, a menswear concept store owner I'd met the same year as Karine. Same conversation. Same broken tools. That's when it hit.

What I hadn't managed to build in 2016, I was going to build now. One tool. Fair rates. Their brand, end to end. The boring parts handled, so they can go back to the craft.

Somewhere along the way, in Japan, I found a word: おもてなし, omotenashi. Service as craft. Hosting as an act. Every parcel is a small act of hosting. The brand is the host, the customer the guest. That's the whole vision. It's also where the name came from: in Japanese, delivery is デリバリー, deribarī. That sound stuck. Delibari.

Fourteen of us now, between Paris, Kuala Lumpur and Shenzhen. Still building it for Karine and Franck, and every brand like theirs.

二Manifesto · 志

Seven sentences we stand by.

  1. 01 / 07

    The unboxing is the product.

  2. 02 / 07

A tracking page is a stage, not a status screen.

  3. 03 / 07

Returns aren't failures. They're second chances.

  4. 04 / 07

If a customer has to email you about a parcel, something else already broke.

  5. 05 / 07

Software should feel like the brand wrote it, not the warehouse.

  6. 06 / 07

The best logistics disappears. Then reappears, on time, exactly where you needed it.

  7. 07 / 07

We work for the person who just bought. Everything else follows from that.

三Principles

Five words we keep returning to.

  1. 気配りkikubari

    The attention before the ask.

Good hospitality anticipates. For every feature, we ask what the customer might worry about, even if they didn't say it. Then we solve it before they notice.

  2. 仕立てshitate

    Fit is everything.

A small brand and a luxury house both deserve software that fits them, not the same tool with a different logo. Our plans, our API and our defaults reflect that.

  3. 丁寧teinei

    Polite, in the deepest sense.

Clean interfaces, honest copy, no dark patterns. We treat our customers the way we ask them to treat theirs. Even our 404 pages apologise properly.

  4. 間ma

    The space between.

Silence, whitespace, the pause. We resist features that add noise. Every notification, email and tracking update has to earn its place.

  5. 改善kaizen

    Small, continuous, forever.

Small improvements every day, 40 deploys a week on average, and trust in the compound effect.
