Tezukuri · pick and pack modulePick, pack, print.
Tezukuri is Delibari's pick and pack module. A workshop tool, not a WMS: one screen, one scanner, one gesture per order. Your packers stop walking around with clipboards, and errors stop reaching your customers.
手作り tezukuri · noun, Japanese origin
Handmade. Made with intention, piece by piece, in the order required.
Included in Nagare, Kiwa and Mugen
一The thinking
A workshop tool, not a WMS.
Tezukuri was built for the brand that ships three hundred parcels on a slow week and three thousand on a busy one, out of a studio, a garage, a small warehouse or the corner of an apartment.
For that brand, a real WMS is the wrong tool. It costs more than the rent, takes three months to install and trains the team in a language they don't speak. It replaces a pair of hands that, given the right cue at the right moment, do a remarkable job.
Tezukuri is that cue. One line on a screen. One beep from a scanner. One label, printed while the hand is still on the box.
二Your rhythm
Two modes, one for each kind of floor.
Pick the mode that matches your workshop, not the other way around. Switch whenever you like, your settings are kept.
One order at a time, on screen.
For brands shipping from a single room. Orders arrive in sequence; the screen shows one at a time with its item list. One key prints the label and the next order appears. No walking, no scanning, nothing but a printer.
- Keyboard-only
- Auto-advance after printing
- Skip an order and send it back to the queue
- Optional item verification
Best for studios · fewer than 200 SKUs
The scanner leads, the screen follows.
For brands with a real warehouse: aisles, shelves, pickers. Print the list, walk the aisles, scan at the packing bench. First scan loads the order; second scan prints the label.
- Any €30 USB scanner
- Smartphone as a fallback
- Configurable list: SKU, EAN, aisle, photo
- Wrong item: audible block and on-screen alert
Best for warehouses · more than 200 SKUs
三From beep to box
Anatomy of a scan.
Seven hundred milliseconds of software. Then the hand keeps moving.
- t +0 ms
Scanner fires
The packer scans the pick-list barcode. A single beep.
- t +80 ms
Order resolved
Delibari finds the live order: address, weight, carrier rules, customer notes.
- t +180 ms
Rules applied
Your shipping rules run across carrier, weight, destination and product type.
- t +360 ms
Items verified
With item-scan on, each EAN turns green. If something is wrong, the screen blocks before the label.
- t +520 ms
Label sent
The carrier API returns a tracking number; the label goes to the nearest ZPL printer.
- t +700 ms
Label printed
The thermal printer hands it over. The next order is already on screen.
四The pick list
Designed once. Printed thousands of times.
Every field, every sort order, every highlight can be configured and saved as a template. One team, one template.
- Show
- Photo, SKU, EAN, location, weight, customer notes
- Sort by
- Aisle then shelf, shared items first, order received, SKU
- Highlight
- Quantities above 1, fragile items, gift orders
五Item verification
The wrong item never ships.
With item-scan on, every product is scanned into the order before a label is produced. If the EAN doesn't match (wrong colour, wrong size, wrong SKU), Tezukuri blocks the label and flags the conflict on screen.
No return, no apology email, no refund. It's the quietest customer service feature we ship.
“We went from three packers tripping over each other to two packers who actually chat while they work. The screen tells them what's next. The scanner tells the screen what's done. I haven't printed a picking slip by hand in ten months.”

六Questions
Everything else.
Do I need a scanner to use Tezukuri?
No. Chronological queue mode runs keyboard-only: orders arrive on screen, you press space to pack and print. Adding a scanner later takes five minutes and unlocks pick list mode.
Which plans include Tezukuri?
Tezukuri is included in Nagare, Kiwa and Mugen. Hajime customers can add it for €29 per month, or move up to Nagare, which usually works out cheaper once you count the printing savings.
Will Tezukuri work with my existing barcodes?
Yes, if your packing slip carries a barcode that encodes the order number. Numeric Code 128 is accepted by default and any other format can be mapped on request. For connected shops, order-number barcodes are generated automatically.
What happens if the scanner reads something unexpected?
The screen blocks the label, plays a different tone and asks the packer to choose: replace the item, substitute it or hold the order. Nothing ships until a human has decided.
Can I run Tezukuri on several stations?
Yes. Each station has its own named session and pulls from the same live queue. An order is locked the moment it is scanned, so two people never grab the same one. Nagare includes 3 stations, Kiwa 10, Mugen unlimited.
Does Tezukuri work offline?
Partly. The pick list and packing queue are cached locally. Label printing needs the carrier API: labels queue up and print as soon as the connection is back.
How long does setup take?
15 minutes median: plug in the scanner (recognised as a keyboard), install Print Bridge (90 seconds), choose your sort order. Most customers print their first Tezukuri label the same afternoon.
Is Tezukuri a WMS?
No. Tezukuri doesn't manage stock levels, receive purchase orders or run cycle counts. It guides a packer from an incoming order to a printed label. For a full WMS, Delibari integrates with Katana, Linnworks, Brightpearl and Cin7.
